RPI Women’s Tennis is now 7-1 including an impressive 4-0 record over spring break. They beat the Stockton Ospreys ; Mississippi College Choctaws; Heibelberg University Student Princess; and Westminster College Blue Jays. All of these matches were 9-0 sweeps by RPI except for an 8-1 win over Missippi State. RPI’s only loss was a tight match against Division 1 SUNY New Platz. Casey Olsen
is the #1 Singles player with a record of 9-1. Her only loss came in the fall tournament season. She has not lost a match in a head to head match up with another team. She played one match at #3 singles which she won, then she went 7-0 at #1 singles. Meghan Olson is right behind her at 8-2, also 1-1 intournament play, 6-1 at #3 singles and 1-0 at #4. Amanda Alexander who played #4 and Brianna Dickie who played #5 and #6 are both 7-1 (6-0 in dual matches, 1-1 in tournaments). In doubles, Lexi Rindone & Christine Ciamarra are 10-2 (2-2 in tournaments and 8-0 at #2 doubles). The team’s record is 50-17 (41-7 in dual matches) in singles and 26-8 (22-2 in dual matches) in doubles.
