Siena Women’s Tennis Team had 3 dual matches in the fall, where they went 2-1. So far this Spring they are 3-8. The Spring season started with a 5-2 loss to Hofstra on the road. Next, there were losses to U Albany 7-0 (held at Tri City but it was still considered an away match); Sacred Heart and Colgate, both 6-1 losses at home. Then it was the Spring Break trip to Hilton Head Island where they played Gardener-
Webb in the USPTR Spring Tennisfest and lost 7-2. Although the Spring Break trip started out with a loss, it was, in the end, a successful trip with wins over Savannah State (5-2); Hood College (7-0) and North Central Texas College (6-1). Since returning home from Spring break Siena has had a 6-1 loss at home to St. Bonaventure; a 7-0 Hone Victory over Wagner at Tri City (a league match)and a 5-2 loss to Niagara at Central Park (also a league match). Sandhu and Nicole Ross play doubles together for the Saints. Their ecord is 4-6. Jasleen is the #1 singles player and has a 10-9 record overall, including tournaments and dual meets. Nicole is 5-5 in singles. Jessica Macaluso is 8-10 in singles overall. Jessica played her high school tennis at Shenendahowa.
