Dmitry Tursunov (currently ranked 128th) who has been ranked as high as 20th in the world. Tursunov won 6-4 in the third set. Qualifiers are best of 3 sets, not best of 5 that they play in the main draw. There were a lot of main draw players on the practice courts – one of the Sage players came back with Andy Murray’s autograph. Erica Hollot, RPI Women’s coach also joined us on the trip. It was a great day of tennis and my thanks go out to the Sage tennis teams for the invitation. Good luck to Sage and all of the local college teams.
