Born – August 30, 1982 – Omaha, Nebraska

Parents – Jerry (a businessman) and Blanche (a school teacher) Roddick

Two older brother Lawrence & John (John was an all American at Georgia and is currently Head Tennis Coach at Oklahoma)

1986

Age 4 – Moved to Austin, Texas

1993

Age 11 – Moved to Boca Raton, Florida

1999

Finished #6 in the United States in the Juniors (USTA)

2000

Won U.S. Open & Australian Open Juniors

March (Miami) won his first ATP match against Fernando Vincente (#41)

August (Washington, DC) won his first ATP tournament beating Fabrice Santoro (#30)

Finished #1 in the world in the Juniors (ITF)

2001

March – Defeated Pete Sampras at the Miami Masters

August defeated World #1 Gustavo Kuerten

2003

Roddick wins his first Masters Series events (Canada and Cincinnati)

September – wins the U.S. Open

November 8 – Hosted Saturday Night Live

Roddick became the youngest American to be ranked #1 at the end of the year since the computer rankings were started in 1973

2006

July – Hired Jimmy Connors as his coach

2007

Began dating Model Brooklyn Decker

2008

March 31 – Announced his engagment to Brooklyn Decker

Replaced Jimmy Connors with his brother John

December 1, 2008 – Began working with legendary coach Larry Stefanki

2009

April 17 – Andy Roddick and Brooklyn Decker are married

2012

January 7 – Andy Roddick and Bobby Bones debuted their Fox Sports Radio show.  The show airs Saturdays 11:00am – 2:00 pm EST

August 30 – Andy Roddick announces that he will retire at the end of the U.S. Open

September 5 – Andy Roddick losses to Juan Martin del Potro and retires from the ATP tour
