Bryan Chow and Richard Meyer Win First Match in NCAA Super Bowl
MOBILE, AL––Bryan Chow and Richard Meyer beat NAIA champions Adrian Bayh and Patrick Besch of Embry-Riddle in their first match of the NCAA Super Bowl. The Super Bowl bracket is comprised of the winners of each division participating in the tournament, including Division II, Division III, NAIA, and Junior College.
Head Coach Dan Greenberg said “Trey and Bryan played a great match. They capitalized on every opportunity they had early and late, and it made all the difference.”
Chow and Meyer will face Division II champions Christian Hansen and Louis Loeffler of Valdosta State
(GA) in the Super Bowl finals.
Chow and Meyer Finish Second in USTA/ITA Super Bowl
MOBILE, AL––Williams’ Bryan Chow and Richard Meyer finished second in the USTA/ITA Super Bowl. The pair lost 6-3, 6-2 to Valdosta State’s Christian Hansen and Louis Loeffler. Chow and Meyer jumped out to an early 3-1 lead in the first set, but Hansen and Loeffler rallied to win the last five games of the first set. The second match was back-and-forth, with Williams breaking serve first, but Valdosta reclaimed the lead, going on to win.
